How to be a Success in Your Relationship

Success Beyond the Boardroom

When your external success doesn’t translate to prowess in your relationship with your wife…

All the success in the world can’t compensate for that feeling of aloneness that dogs you when you’re home.

You may have learned how to talk about the elephant in the room when it comes to business —

But when it comes to your wife and how to be a success in your relationship, the fear of upsetting her —

Or not wanting to cause her pain —

Or the worry that she can’t handle what’s true for you —

Can too easily take over.

There are 2 things I help men develop in my practice that can solve this.

1) Your vision for the relationship together.

When you have a shared North Star, then it’s easier to call each other forward towards something bigger than yourself.

It’s no longer about ‘my needs vs your needs’, but: what are we doing here together?

2) Your internal code of honor.

It’s tempting, as a caring man who gives a damn, to fall into doing what pleases your partner and not rocking the boat.

But if you have a code of honor (for example: kindness, courage, doing what’s right over what’s comfortable or convenient), then being in integrity with yourself means sometimes you must rock the boat — and that’s a good thing.

I help you do this without being an asshole (which you probably wouldn’t be, but might quietly worry about anyway.

Being assertive when you’re used to being ‘nice’ can feel over the line at first).

I have a new, month-to-month option for doing this work, so you can dip your toe in, if you’ve been wondering what it’s like — check it out here.
